Make positive communication a habit.

positive communication

Make positive communication work for you.

What you habitually say to yourself has a very profound impact. Not only on your self-image, but your self-esteem, and your performance as well as your eventual success. Positive communication means purposely giving yourself positive reinforcement, motivation, and recognition- just as you would do for a friend.

Congratulate yourself when you do well, and remind yourself of your abilities, accomplishments, strengths and skills. Keep a to-do list, check off accomplishments, and review your progress periodically.

What you habitually say to yourself has a very profound impact on your self-image, your self-esteem, and your performance as well as eventual success.

Remember that your subconscious triggers physiological responses to match the pictures and thoughts that you have of yourself. Make this work for you by keeping your self-talk positive.

Stop negative self-talk.

Negative self talk can be damaging because your subconscious believes what you say to yourself when you repeat that negative talk in your mind over and over again. How is your subconscious to know otherwise? If you catch yourself using negative self-talk, stop and rephrase. Eliminate the negative words.

Focus instead on the best course you can take and do it.

Make positive communications a habit.

Write down a new script for your life, you cannot have a new outcome or ending with an existing script. Write the script for your dreams and see how fast it becomes a reality.

Focus on the positive in goal statements, self-talk, and all communications. Compare the following phrases, and notice how the positive words convey confidence, commitment, and enthusiasm.

For example:

• Instead of “I will try” substitute the phrase “ I will “.
• Instead of saying “I should do “insert the phrase “I will do “
• Try saying “ I want to “ or “ I choose to” instead of the more common “I must “

Focus with affirmation statements. Affirmative statements are positive self-statements or reminders to help you achieve goals. They are positive messages with a punch “mental bumper stickers” of sorts to motivate your subconscious mind to work for you.

Your story might sound like:

• „Today something special happened….“
• „I am so amazed, the way the conversation with………. went.“
• „I was so surprised that they offered me to work with them ….“
• „It was this one moment, as I became the opportunity to…..“
• „ I am so grateful that my mother / business partner / friend ……..“
• „ I am amazed how the whole team was working together ……“

Tell Yourself your story, write it down so that you visualize it and it can trigger the vibration of joy, excitement, love, enthusiasm… about scenarios you wish to see unfold in your life.

make the best out of this day

You may be busy BUT it doesn’t take long to write your story and just think of all the benefits a new story could hold for you!

So the question is: What gets in your way of changing your inner dialog?
The perceived time limitations get in the way of a person telling a new story. They lack the belief that these tools will actually do something for them.

And One More Thing To Think About

Make self-talk work for you. Remember that your subconscious triggers physiological responses to match the pictures and thoughts that you have of yourself. Therefore keep your self-talk positive.

Not your words – but how you feel, think and vibrate – about what you say – is important and will be heard. Positive self-talk means purposely giving yourself positive reinforcement, motivation, and recognition- just as you would do for a loved one.

Congratulate yourself when you do well, and remind yourself of your abilities, accomplishments, strengths and skills.

Write your daily journal, check off accomplishments, and review your progress periodically. When you raise your vibration by focusing on something joyful and acting on the value of it – life will offer you more to feel good about, more to be joyful, grateful, successful, loved…

You can call it an recurring cycle

The more you focus on what you want and act on it, the more you get what you want. But we are so used to focus on something negative and the result is that we stay in resistance to what we really want to be, do and have.

What are you focusing on regarding your personal self?

• Body
• Weight
• Looks

What are you focusing on regarding your people relationships?

• Relationship
• Husband/wife
• Family / kids

What are you focusing on regarding your work?

• Work
• Colleagues
• Team

What are you focusing on regarding your business?

• Business
• Customer
• Income
• Your future

How happy are you?

Are you joyful and grateful about your health, relationships, work, abundance and financial situation?
If you feel as if your life is stuck in a rut, a dismal failure and you really don’t believe that telling a new story will work for you, ask yourself this:

What is the disadvantage to telling myself a new story?

• What if it doesn’t work, then I will be more frustrated like now
• What if I don’t know what I really want?
• What if I can’t imagine a better life?
• I don’t know if I can handle a new outcome.

What is the benefit of keeping my old story?

• Right now I know how to handle my life. With no expectations I cannot get hurt or disappointed.

How does it serve you to keep telling the old story over and over again?

• I don’t have to change
• I don’t have to learn new things
• It is comfortable as it is
• I don’t have to express myself and shine
• I don’t have to stand out above the crowd
• I make no waves
• No expectations = no disappointments

Once you know the benefit of staying where you are or the disadvantage of getting what you want, you can overcome these obstacles with a simple technique and become completely congruent with a successful life!

make the best now

Is your little voice telling you right now:

• How can I think of or imagine better outcomes – I don’t know how? I tried it before and always failed. It hurts too much if I fail again.

Stop negative self-talk. Negative self talk can be damaging because your subconscious believes what you say to yourself when you repeat that negative talk in your mind over and over. How is your subconscious to know otherwise? If you catch yourself using negative self-talk, stop and rephrase. Eliminate the negative words. Focus instead on the best course you can take and do it.

Make positive communications a habit. Focus on the positive in goal statements, self-talk, and all communications. Compare the following phrases, and notice how the positive words convey confidence, commitment, and enthusiasm.

These powerful tools of positive self talk and positive affirmations can more than help speed you along to your chosen goals. Aren’t you tired of expecting the worst, preparing for disaster and bracing yourself for bad news?
